DAY 13 of the 14 Day Nutritional fast is a flush day for me. Normally the third flush is on Day 11 but due to my schedule I extended the preparation days. The schedule of the flush day was the same as the previous two flush days outlined during those days. Important factors are to include the castor oil packs as often as possible, massage the liver and gall bladder, and staying empty. I have continued with the baking soda/epsom salt mix with a squeeze of lemon 2x per day to ensure 4 liquid bowel movements a day. I have been doing Bikram Yoga every day this week so I may be a little dehydrated and because of this I am anticipating that I won’t have as many stones or possibly none at all this time. The release of stones feels like such an accomplishment that I can get fixated on it but it is important to remember that the flushing of the liver whether there are stones released or not is extremely beneficial. Below is a recipe for an amazing soup that I made but really had no appetite for after drinking the olive oil and lemon juice mixture. So I will sure to be empty the next day for the release of the stones.
Recipe for Spicy Sweet Red Pepper Lifefood Soup
1 whole sweet red pepper
5/6 cherry tomatoes
1 tbsp irish moss (pre-blended)
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp coconut butter
1 tsp cayene pepper
1 tsp paprika
water to desired thickness
Blend everything together and then heat slightly. Garnish with raspberries and sprinkle of cayenne pepper.
DAY 14 is the day after the flush day. I woke up early and had a very liquid bowel movement with no stones. I concluded that perhaps the dehydration or not enough castor oil packs was to blame. I took some more epsom salts/baking soda mix with lemon and shortly after was back in the restroom. This time I released about 10 very large stones and 20 medium to small. I have never had this type of delayed reaction but happy to have more released. I will continue the day as a preparation day. The normal fasting schedule is to finish with 3 more preparation days. I have decided that I will continue with preparation days and start another 14 day Nutritional Fast immediately……you feel so good on these fasts. I have noticed a difference in my body and in particular I see less bloating in the lower abdomen. I tend to carry weight in the hips and thighs which can be contributed to high levels of cortisol. I feel that eating this way makes one better prepared to deal with stress and less effect on the adrenals.. there is much more mineralization.
